Just read Best & Worst of site design 2003 report by forrester...
"Sites with video games for menus and pages that can't be read will disappear as companies recognize and unplug these embarrassments. In turn, designers who can't overcome their egocentric need to call attention to interfaces will get squeezed out by craftsmen who understand the rules for selecting and placing standards-compliant buttons and list boxes. This evolution will happen fastest in industries that measure site results the most, like --suprise! -- retailers and advertising-driven content sites"
