I just wanted to know how many of the designers here on Newstoday have had there logo's copyrighted, and is it worth it?

copyrighting your material isn't something you "do", when you're the author / creator of something the rights automatically belongs to you.
Maybe you're talking about trademarks?

you mean registered as a trademark?
logos are automatically copyrighted.

oh ok I was worried, that my logo thats on my portfolio if some corportation or someone else wanted it could up and grab it , copyrighted and I'd be assed out.

copyrights are automatic, but it's a good idea to always include a copyright statement of some sort on your site.

the copyright statement doesnt 'make it copyrighted' , but is just an indication that you intend to defend your copyright... so a good idea to do it.

I remember on an old booty bass record from miami the guy had:
"unauthorized duplication will get you beat down by a ghetto-ass dj" on his album.

Get a lawyer, have them research and register the trademark for your clients. It's worth the investment.

Did you know it's illegal to use that ® thing if you havent actually registered your trademark?
