searching a professional (and powerfull) web editor for os x. no dreamwaever, bbedit or hydra please. thankx!

good luck

Might I ask why?
What's the point in making things so difficult? BBedit is about the best program for hand coding, and if you must go WYSIWYG then Dreamweaver is pretty much top of the pile.
"Yeah, I want a professional and powerful image editor, but it can't be Photoshop, Fireworks, or Imageready."

Adobe GoLive? it's getting better in every version

maybe he's keeping it real, I only use apps that have been made from spare bits of wood and used tacks in someones garage - and in their SPARE time.

use paper and a pencil if you're as hardcore as you seem.

4cY you have once again proven why you are such a bad ass. That IS hardcore. I'm doing ALL my shit on stone from now on. That shit archives well too.

piece of wood!

for my job the wysiwyg option of dreamweaver sucks, the html files are bigger then 4-5MB and many tables included, so it doesn't work for me.
- unknown0
what are you doing with a 5mb html page?
is it www.thehistoryoftheuniverseallon…... heheh?
- graphito0
no ;-)
the file contains market studies...
so i need a faster wysiwyg editor as dreamwaever for os x.
- Tyrone0
Faster than BBEdit dude?
- graphito0
can't handle the big files with bbedit - html files with 4-5MB of tables ... that's the point, you loose control over so much code, so i need fast wysiwyg ...
- graphito0
maybe golive? any comments, is golive faster in wysiwyg as dremweaver?
- mvb20
Not on OS X. If GoLive is anything like Dreamweaver on OS X then forget about it.
A text editor can't handle 5mb of code? Colored syntax and some sensible tabbing should keep it reasonable.
Please tell me that this all dynamic (like from a database) and that you don't hand code this stuff.
- graphito0
no, that are non-dynamic source files i get. ok later i split it, but ...
waht do you mean with "sensible tabbing"? thankx.

this one looks good for code, but no wysiwyg mode ;-(
searching for anything like this but with a wysiwyg option...
any developer tools? thanks.
- mvb20
Just using the tab key to format all your nested tables and things so you can see what your doing a little better.
I have a feeling that something that large will choke dreameaver pretty bad. I gotta place my vote for BBedit on this one, but you could look into this:

I have no idea how good it is, but its an option.

thanks.
