Sorry to start a thread about this, but I just noticed that I have lost two of the Rubber Feet/Rubber pads on the bottom of my 17" PowerBook. Can I get replacements? I searched the Apple site, and come up with nothing. Any help be great. Thanks.

you can checkout ebay.. a lot of people sell them.

It's still under warranty isn't it? Apple will send you new feet for free.
They just posted me a packet of them (self-adhesive) for my old Powerbookk G3.

apparently the will mail you a "feet kit" if you ask them.

i've lost one of the small rubber tabs that stop the screen hitting the keyboard area on my 15" G4. is it the same deal with replacing those?

Your warranty covers everything... You just need to contact them and politely ask (and insist).
If things are falling off, it's obviously poor build or design, which they are responsible for.

how about paint blistering?
its just started!

Isn't there a retouch kit for that? The paint durability is probably more of a grey area... Are people getting that covered under warranty?

instead of calling these people and "insisting" stuff from them why not just walk into the apple store (you dont even need your computer with you) go up to a clerk or "genius" as they like to call it ..and say "hey man wassup B i lost some feet off the bottom of my power book"
that person will say with 100%
certandy... "sure" reach into a drawer and hand you about 10 of them and youll never have to worry ever again

Apple Stores arent everywhere... For most Powerbook repairs and exchanges in the UK the only option is by courier. (Aplle pays)
