Send your image to and I'll convert it to an icon when I get home tonight.

Wow Jnr_Madison!
but i don't know the .ico pixelwidth and height at all...

Have quick look over this, it should give you all the info you need.

What's it for btw?

thanks Jnr_M, going to read that.
and i needed them for a pc screensaver.
but it is too late now, it is already shipped, without the customized pc-icon...

Ah shit, it would have taken me two mins if I'd been at home too.
Sorry I couldn't help.

maybe the next time. version 2, ok?
- Jnr_Madison0
Of course, no problemo :)

if you just need the standard size icon (not the ones in quicklaunch and in the start menu) you could just re-name your bmp to .ico
- stewart0
really, jox?!
a 32 x 32 pixels bmp?
- jox0
yes you can. But you can't chance the extension in Photoshop or Paint, you have to do it with a 32x32 bmp in a folder. (F2 button)
- stewart0
okay. will try that the next time.

This does work but is not ideal (but would of done for your screensaver i guess).
Icon making programs let you specify versions of the icon for different bit-depths, and for different sizes.

true Madison, and you can mask parts of the icon too.
