PDF Question...again

ok i finally got acrobat 6.0 pro.
i've been able to make editable text fields for this piece for a client.
do the piece in illustrator, save as pdf, then open in pro, add the text fields.....
when the client opens the pdf in the reader, he should be able to add info to the text fields, save it and say fax it.....correct?

They actually won't be able to save the data put into the form fields, only the actual form itself can be saved. The form data can be printed with the form or you can have the form submit the entries into a database on a server. This has actually been a rather annoying "feature" for some time. Actually, if you wanted to really get tricky you could have the form submit the data to a server and then have the server feed back a nicely formatted pdf containing the data. This would require the server to have the ability to create pdf's on the fly. PHP and ASP both have ways of doing this.

gabriel thanks for the heads up.
heres the problem i have...its kind of annoying since its something so simple.
client wants to send faxes thru the net. he needs a cover sheet designed.
and needs to be able to add info to each cover sheet.
whats the easiest way to do this?
