What would you do if you found out that your place of employment had cancelled (most likely for nonpayment of premium) your healthcare?
I just called the benefits office of my HMO to make sure I don't have dental care attached and not only do I not have dental care but as of May 31, I have no health care. News to me, especially since I pay out every month for it.
What should I do? This is the cherry topping ot a bunch of B.S. that has been happening lately.

Ask your boss?
Speak to HR?
Don't get sick?

Start making copies of your resume.

Thanks, guys. Unfortunately, I think you are right, Shellie.
I think I won't ever work for a small firm (under 4 people) again, unless its for myself. The stuff that's been happening makes corporate redtape look sexy. :(

mid size firms are stable.. over 10 people.. under 50.

read your contract and consult your boss.
with a weapon.

but trust me when i say youd never want to work in house for a company like sony or something like that. definately work at a firm if you care anything about your work. you have time to look.. at least for now.. get your shit together and get yourself out there.
maybe you'll be lucky and find soemthing better and leave without any down time.
its true you find a job faster when you have a job.

Bummer D.
didnt you just get this gig a couple months ago? man that sucks.

Thanks, BonSeff. Yeah, had this gig for 5 months. There have been a few signs before this that things were off. I was placed through Aquent and found out confidentially a few weeks ago that my fee still hasn't been paid by my employer.

well, keep yer chin up and your ear to the ground. start looking at plan B.
