recommendation from non europeans.. that makes me laugh :the 'big' places u want to see , definetely :
Amsterdam,
Berlin,
London
Paris,
Roma
All of them are beautiful cities, with nice architecture, rich night life, art, museums, historical places.. moe than that it will be a nice tour of europe.
then of course u can go in Madrid and lisbonneIn Switzerland Bern, Luzern, Lugano and Geneva are lovely
In Italy for the night life and shopping : Milano
In SPain Barcelona is rocking with clubs and bars : very nice for one week endIn the south Of France don't miss : La Camargue, LEs Calanques de Marseille and most of the country side si gorgeous
Berlin in Germany would be my fav in Europe.. it's just too much.. i love this city

I'm happy here in Belgium, but other great places: Barcelona, Paris, Marseille, Sweden, Antwerp, Ghent, ...

well i´m a happy belgian who moved to Berlin and i must say it´s the best place i´ve lived till now (lived in Ghent, Antwerp (both Belgium) and Milan (Italy))
in the winter it´s quite cold here, but now ... better than belgian summers ;-)
food ... well i´ve never been in a typically german restaurant ... actually it´s hard to find one
people ... don´t associate Germany with Bavaria and oktoberfest, the people are just fine
work ... there is work ... hell yeah
maybe some import numbers, in Milan you don´t get paid in relation to the rent prices, a small apartment (60 m²) easily costs a 1000 euro/month
here in Berlin i´m paying 280 euro/month for a better and bigger (80 m²) apartmentadvice to everyone: you should at least live for a period abroad

Prague or Geneva

hummm... switzerland
- mezelve0
yep, swiss is nice
can anyone confirm this story, that swiss employers have to proof to the swiss state that they couldn´t find a good swiss before they can hire a foreigner
btw do you call an inhabitant of Switzerland a Swiss?
