This was the killer day. Norm Meyerowitz was the keynote for Macromedia. He spoke about Flash Light, the development kit that creates Flash for phones, Flash Player X which creates a .swf from XML without Flash, new Flash components from DEVNET
Glyn Thomas spoke about simulating 3D cameras in Flash, using fairly simple action script. http://www.glynthomas.com
Hoss Gilford talked about some great Flash tips to animate with action script based on time, to avoid timing discrepancies on the Mac.
and then their was the Flash Forward Film Festival. Oh my, I was kind of jealous.

dont forget natzke.
the inspiration he provides is sometimes the only reason i stay in the flash game. if you saw his session, youll know what i mean.
he hasnt done much with his personal site lately, but the man is kicking out some serious shit.

yeah when i saw natzke's intro video at Flash in the Can, my jaw fell open.... like he broke a hymen in my brain or something.... really helped me think outside the box in terms of the way i treat Flash as a tool. I could really relate to his perspective too, being mostly a self-taught, but relatively accomplished programmer...
so in conclusion: natzke is a cool dude.
