Did anyone else go? I loved the Flash Remoting/Communication Server seminar. I don't do that stuff, but it was great to learn and get background. I would love to work on a project like that some day.
The MX/Quicktime seminar was interesting too. I was a little dissapointed how it stacks up to Windows Media or Real Media on Windows, but like they were saying, It's only the first version of Flash with video.
Here's a fine fact: as of March of this year, 83.8 percent of users have the Flash MX plugin. Our little internet is growing up so fast.

who gave u that number?

Mike Davidson and Danny Mavromatis from ESPN. They were the speakers for the seminar on Quicktime in Flash MX. They got it from Macromedia.

98.5% of all statistics are baldfaced lies.
Seriously though, Flash Forward is Guyana 1978. Don't drink too much of the Koolaid.

dont let anti-flashforward people stop from posting more updates on it.... Assuming I'm still working, I plan to go next year. Is it mostly designer-oriented? or equally geared towards designers/developers/businesspeo...

o :/ well - of course macromedia is gonna say the numbers are that high...

if apple was any example, you n ever look at stats from the company itself.
i was supposed to go this year, had my schedule laid out and everything, but thigns fell through.

Macromedia hires an outside company to do their plug-in census. That's why you get a nice breakdown of who has what version. You don't get that info from Real or Microsoft about Windows Media Player.
