What is your mind numbing, no prospects job in which you seem to be stuck?

I dunno - what do you exepct to find at an agency that you don;t have right now?
What would you want from an agency?

a proper job..!
seriously though... i work at the mo' at a (dare i say it) student union where i AM the design department...
it's kinda giong nowhere, and i feel that i need a 'proper' design job, working with other designers, that sort of thing...
something with a bit of 'scope'... where i am is a bit deadend...

ah!
fair do's!
well yeah it sounds like you are just ready to move your career up a notch - which is cool.
I've worked for 3/4 agencies in London and they've all been pretty cool - varied work...but long hours...I learnt a lot though.
Never really expereinced attitude except at a place called the webshed - where the AD was a fucking scouse price who wouldn;t have known good design if it had come up and hit him with a brick....but that's another story for another time....
get a cv and portfolio ready and then use firmlist to just cold email people...or use a recruitment company - but I don't advise that.....
DO be prepared for loooong hours...and ok money
