o.k with my ongoing saga of flash suckness. yes i am horrible and never want to touch this program again....i'd prefer to just make stuff look cool in photoshop or illustrator.
i have an mp3 file....when i import it into flash the file size goes from about 20k to about 900 k....WAY to much.
how the F do i compress the audio?
thanks for ALL the help, this has been an enlightening experience for me. with a new found respect, more so than before for all the flash designers out there.

Right-click the file in the library. Choose Properties.
I find that MP3 > 32kbps > Medium works pretty well.

don't use .mp3, use .wav Flash compresses this much better and you needn't worry about it not looping and sound quality is much, much better.

just makes sure you have mastered your .wav file to get the most out of it in an editor.
