do you ever have a moment when something just refuses to register in your head? like a word that you read wrong or a picture that you cant quite grasp. . . and then it fucks you up and makes your brain glitch?
you feel like your brain is straining and things start to seem a little unreal... and it keeps repeating in your head faster than you can comprehend it until finally you are able to dampen the feeling somewhat by concentrating on something else? and even then you can still feel the other thing running in the back of your head like a never ending line of repeating text that if youthought about it long enough, would probably drive you insane?
im just hoping that i am not alone out here. or perhaps a good old fashioned thorazine spike could cure what ails me...

I was thinking of giving trepanation a try. Any thoughts? Anyone else tried any home kits with success?

bio: it happens to me EVERY day. sometimes ill just be looking at a very common word and it wont register like "IS THIS EVEN AN ENGLISH WORD" and then slowly the fog will lift and itll make sense.
mmm.. paint chips...

my brain does this with images. typically ones that are far away and a bit blurry. it will try to translate the image based on the shapes and usually will never register a response... it just hangs trying to figure out what it's seeing... almost like it's trying to decode what it sees.... weird, i know.

that is a crazy word.
my head is hurting now
ps: how do you say it?

man am i glad to hear all that.
this shit has had me fucked up for nearly half an hour.
my brain feels tight and tired... like it just had a major workout. and all over one silly word.
on the bright side, i dreamed that i was a vampire last night and that i killed a puppy.
i was the white haired leader of a vampire race that landed on the earth inside a meteor. we spread like a virues and took over the whole world. i felt bad because i was torturing people (and a puppy, which was fucked up) but i was just plain bad.
in the end the humans gave me my soul back and we kicked the vampires off of the planet. it was a lot creepier than i can describe. there was no element of humor in it and it had me thoroughly freaked out when i woke up this morning. =)

cover your left eye for 20 minutes this should reset your brain if it fails try the right eye.
- Bio0
mal, is that really supposed to work? or is that supposed to make me look crazier than i already feel?
- Mal0
bit of both matey. Actualy covering one eye if you're feeling a bit depressed works very well if the eye you cover makes you feel worse try the other. Good ol left brain right brain stuff. An old pair of goggles with one eye blacked out with tape is perfect.

i think this is common in individuals that utilize an equal amount of both left and right sides of their brain...
when a process request is sent to the brain, it will sometimes enter a repeating loop while attempting to send the process to the best candidate (side) for handling it....
ok, so i just made that up, but it seemed somewhat logical

guess it's time to pull my old pirate gear outta the closet.

two years ago.. I went through some crazy sleep patterns .. and on a few occasions.. everything around me appeared slurred and slow..
I dont drink by the way..I was quite scared and resumed normal sleeping patterns for a while. the problem fixed itself.. but I guess I glitched.

Mainly when waking from a heavy session on the ale.
Like watching/thinking about me coding/designing the same part of some project over and over and over and over again.
Or (without alcohol) when someone fires a random question at me too... like wow! wtf?!!
