Do you ever get the feeling that you've seen & done it all?
I'm currently struggling with that feeling... I have the feeling that I've seen Belgium border to border and that I've done absolutely everything there is to do around here... Not just in my free time but also work wise... I'm working at the same company for like 5 years or so now and really have the feeling that I've done it all...
Any remedies?

I thought of that... but it's one gigantic step... I mean... That would mean leaving family & friends and what about work...?
I thought about moving to London, but living there is so expensive. I mean, I can't even rent a 2 bedroom appt for the price that I'm currently renting my 3 bedroom duplex here...
So many questions... So much going on in my mind...

exactly. move.
I've done it twice (one to Belgium, another to the Netherlands) and I'll problably will do it again by the end of the year.

I'm in the same situation, I want to move to SF (or possibly London, Zurich, Amsterdam), All my family and friends are in San Diego. What you have to realize is that you can always move back if things don't work out.. also there are many people living/struggling in those expensive cities.. Have to take some chances

Yeah, move.
Everybody's doing it.

native of hollywood... everybody moves here cuz the money is here... I feel like moving out of this place but where is there more money?
I loved portland on a recent trip...

Yea, LA does have the money, but how difficult is it to get your hands on it? if you know the right people, I assume , your set to go...

In this brave new global economy, some would advise you to stay put and keep stashing as much of your paycheck away as possible.
Companies go belly up too quickly and easily these days.
Your employer may be rock solid, but, if it's not, then you may have an opportunity to pull up stakes and move sooner than you think.

And that's another big problem... You only get decent jobs when you know the right people... Down here I'm a relatively well known webbie but beyond these borders, no one knows me. You know what I mean? How do you score a big ass job when no one knows your work (outside Belgium that is)

have an awesome portfolio? I don't really know... How do you get noticed?
