i know you can export flash to Qtime, but action script animation doesn't work. Is there any way you can record the actions of an interactive .swf and out put to a decent resolution / quality?

I just went through this same thing, so I'll be interested to hear what people suggest. There are software packages like snagIt that you can get free 30 day trails of, but the motion is far from perfect. Frames get dropped right and left but the resolution looks good. I ended up getting a video card with an S-video out and running it to a TV with a S-video In. Hooked up a mini-DV cam and recorded it to tape, and than re-captured it back to .mov. Completely ridiculous I know but I was desperate. In the end I could get a 640x480 video at 30-fps but because it had to go through composite video the quality went down. I would love to hear a solution to this problem that gets you both good resolution and good motion.

When I worked at The Mill I captured the games I had made by playing them in the Mac Room, and roting its display to a Flame suite, and recording it there. I even made a Sony Playstation advert which was based on an interface in that way. So might want ot try something similar to that if you have anyone in the know!
