I'm working with a guy who is more of a sound expert than video and he has to get me stills of some video that I will use in print packaging. He can't figure out how to get the file size large enough so that I can use it. Any ideas?

you can't really rez up.. if you do it will look rezzed up. like those cop rlity shows where they zoom in on the video and it looks all crappy....

really? damn it to hell! :)
I was hoping that I could at least get a bigger file size than I need. The height of the file is 6.75 inches and I need it to be 7.5 inches and at 72dpi, there's not much to work with. sigh.

This will help a bit but it will still look crappy for the most part. Not because of the filter, (it's f%cking awesome), but because it's a video file.
Good Luck

Try Genuine Fractal!

sorry man, you are pooched...unless you are taking stills from HD footage. That is such a big stretch for a 720x486 image.

next time you do a video make sure to bring a photocamera to make some good stills...

Find something else to use for the packaging. It is just going to look bad. Mind you clients never will understand that.

genuine fractals kicks ass!...i second that.
works great if your image is clean a nd clear to begin with but if its chopy like video then it will just be bigger file of the choppy look.
i'm suprised more web heads don't use it when printing their 72dpi work.

the best way is to make a projection against a flat panel/white wall in a dark room and take a photo.
