Anyone worked or know of any really well done flash presentations they did for a client? I am asking because I have a client that wants a presentation done in Power Point and I need to show them a presentation in Flash and show why it is better.

Can you show me a well designed Power Point presentation? It's just that I have never seen one that was well done.

you're looking for trouble, you can have flash elements in it but don't go building a whole new mechanism when you got one that's ready to go

ok. I didn't know that you can embed flash in it. I always assumed Power Point to be limiting.

i did exactly somethng like this.
a salesguy wanted a PP presentation. i tld him i didnt know PP, but i knew something better.he was THRILLEd when the shit moved around the screen.
next time we do a presentation, i will be using flash again. i have it on my harddrive somewhere.

Bio! PERFECT! Did you have to make it so that he edits it himself?
- Bio0
arg! no, that dumb bastard couldnt edit a Word document.
the only person here who knows how to do flash work is me... so, it's me or they have to outsource. and the only people in this town who know flash, still design with bitmaps at 15fps.
sad thing is, those guys get paid a lot more than i do. fuckers.

i also have the .swf version w/o a preloader, so youd still need to Save Target if you wanted that version.

this text is all reading from an external txt file? for each slide/frame?
- Bio0
no, but i suppose it could if i had wanted to do that.
there wasnt a lot of need for future alterations, so everything is embedded.

is your client wanting to edit the text in your presentation?
something like that isnt hard to do really.
i think it really only gets complicated if you start letting them have access to the images and changing them around.
