I'm off to Boston next week...
will be working at http://www.tankdesign.com for the summer as an interactive co-op.
I'm aware of and will be checking out...
MIT media lab, Berklee, Harvard Square, Fleet Pavillion (seeing Dream Theater) + Free summer concerts
What's the music scene like? Any good jazz clubs or jam sessions?
Any outdoor skateparks?

I haven't been in Boston for about six months so hopefully there's some more parks by now.
Hyde Park has a sick concrete kidney bowl and street course. Underground skateshop has 2 indoor 4ft,16 feet wide spine ramp with 6ft extensions thats pretty fun as well. And if you're into street skating, there's just too many places to name but the financial district at night is the shit.
If you can, stop by Concepts skateshop in Harvard Square. They'll help you out if you need directions and any gear plus they're really good people.Hope this helps. Have fun.
I miss Boston :(

Be Sure to check out the Boston globe Jazz Festival this month. Free concerts at Fanueil Hall and on the Park. As well, bigger name gigs at the ol' Harbor Lights Pavillion.

The Good Life near Downtown Crossing has live music every night. I'd especially recommend going on Saturday night.
Check out the Peanut Man at Cantab Lounge in Central Square, I think he's there a couple of nights a week.
Enjoy Boston!

thats right chimchim, the Boston Globe Jazz festival is serious business. Andthe cost is not too high. I'l be heading up for a number of shows myself. Note that many of the smaller acts tend to be real strong each year as well.
Aslo, if you are interested in the scene furthe, check out http://www.wgbh.org local radio (eric in the evening, being one of my favorite jazz programs of all time, weekday evenings 7-12), they have links to the jazz scene worth checking out
