ok I suck at jscript and this is what I need to do........tell you the truth I dont even know where to start
ok here is the issue.....I have a menu list that allows multiple selections....I have an image map of the united states where all of the states have a value...
what I need to do is when you click on a state.....that it highlights the selection in the menu list and if they click on the same state again that it will take off the highlight....
the menu list can be used by itself as well but the image map needs to send it to the menu...
I tried to get them to use just an image map but it needs to allow multiple selections b/c it gets sent to a search ........ so then I asked for just a menu list and they still wanted the image map....
thanks for your help in advance

hey I know this sounds cheesy but I am in a load of shit if I can't figure this out and I dont have any money to pay anyone....
I checked javascriptkit and all the others and I cant seem to find anything to even tweak to do this....
I asked two people that I know that are coders and they were telling me to send the variable blah blah but neither wanted to do it cause they hate jscript....
I really apologize for this but I really need NT's help on this one

can someone please help me out...I posted this yesterday....
- mitsu0
not too hard to do, but quit difficult to explain. how well do you know javascript?
- clayko0
just create a disjointed rollover in Dreamweaver so that ,onClick> swaps the image in the menu and the image of the state.
- liquid0
clayko......thats not what I am trying to do......
ok I put up a stripped down page......
http://www.liquidorb.net/test/js…
now on the bottom.......I need to click on the image map and send it to the menu list box...... and if I click again I need to take off the selection
and unfortunately I do not know javascript that well.....or actually at all....I could hack it if I knew where to start but then again probably not because I do not know the syntax......
I am one of those designers that has not yet bothered to learn how to code........ bad bad bad.....shame shame on me......

this is an interesting concept... sorry that i can't add any imput... but i will supply the complimentary "Bump"...
enobrev might be the smartest guy here... he is king with PHP... not sure about JScript... ask him if you see him what he thinks.
