I was wondering if any of you know of sites that have some kind of a curve in their design for example check http://www.metafilter.com, see the logo on the left. It has some kind curve look.
Any sites with similar looks???

don't really know what you are looking for ... but a site I worked on a couple of years back had a "curvy logo"...
http://www.linksvomrhein.de is just about as bad as metafilter (plus it got worse since someone changed a few things and put that woman over the top)

yeah something or similar like that
but yeah that site maybe needs an update.....with curvy looks.anyone else?

Hmm, just go to any shitty design firm portfolio and Im sure you will find plenty, I dont get this post, really I dont?
- numero10
what I mean is sites that have curves in their look. Hard for me to point it out in here. But maybe this might help
Note the curve lines in their menu s etc.
But if anyone know of any better looking ones or similar I would like to check them out.
thanks.

How about this one? I designed this a few years ago.

No idea really what you want, but a site I just finished has a rounded logo...probably not what you want...

Please excuse the shameless self-promotion ...

This thread is scary.

numero1, the reason the logos aren't around is because everyone realized, and some of us already knew, elispses and swoosh based logos are bland and cheat the system of concepualization. "Oooo circle's identify with a person, and keeps the person in mind, and it shows movement" They can be used, but should be used sparingly, and only when symbolically neccesary... like Lucent's logo, with the sumie circle... that was pretty decent, but the rest are pretty much followers. Don't design around an element you think is cool, design for the clients needs.

err...my logo is kinda round.

SamDam, Was I rude?
Im not the only one who thinks this request is a bit odd.
And if I were to whip out my portfolio I would be banned. So. Um, I will just..... not.
BTW I am not a logo designer so my portfolio would not showcase better looking design, only better developed sites. But Im sure I could create a better logo than most of these and I wouldn't use a silly curve just for the F of it.
Create circle Skew, tilt, Im a designer! Yay!

what do the WDDG and Wrecked have to do with this thread????
- schjetne0
Swooshes are cool! My next logo will rock the swoosh bad!

well the client got some print work.
So the client wants me to follow the curve feeling of the print work. Their logo is round too.I've been doing some mock ups in fireworks but I am not happy with it. I think I am more of a rectangles/squares type of person. It kinda looks more in order to me.
check an example of the print work
maybe thatt would explain why I have been asking for websites that have a curve feeling.
Sorry for confusing ppl
