i was out front handing out Magazines most of the time, although i did get interviewed twice from a mag and some documentary people.

i was so close to going to the sony party but i got laid off from there a little over a month ago.

the girls at E3 are sooo NASTY. can you say BOOB JOB and WRECKED faces? damn those broads are skidded.

haha mitsu.. that's the chick i have a pic with (can't find it)...
- enobrev0
as far as the girls, i met up with a couple who were working booths who i had met before in chicago. They were very real and very chill. But for the most part, I would have to agree that the silicon content is pretty high.

She said Skidded....

I have also been since 99' and I will be there this year too. Sucks everyone from my dept is going so I only get to go one day.

e3 has been discovered... now its as trashy as any movie release party... too bad its in LA instead of atlanta
- shellie0
discovered? its always been big. i have a legit reason to be there. what the hell are you talking about?
- enobrev0
i heard the atlanta show was pretty good a couple years back.
It has been "discovered" which is why they probably limit it to industry heads only, as opposed to general public, as it once was.
But the idea that it's some kind of underground event or something covert is a bit off, no? I mean it's a swap meet / marketing campaign for everyone in the business.
The whole point of it is to be huge.
- shellie0
exactly eno. it was never a secret.
- skel0
sorry that was leaning a bit too much on ambiguous attacks... it is true that it has become a closed media-only event... perhaps this is part of the problem.... it has been discovered meaning that although it is a media-only event, i have witnessed it devolve, moving from something that used espoused the culture of games and gaming to something which is increasingly media-based and therefore glitz-based, full of more "booth babes" than genuine programmers and designers, which is unfortunate.
i attended from '98-00 so if it has improved in the last few years then color me corrected, but from my impressions of others who've attended and the pc gamer "booth babe" review, it seems the convention is becoming more circus than show of content
- skel0
btw, shellie, i used to write for some magazines... what company are you going with to E3?
