working for a new logo and prifile (print, web etc) for client http://www.telitas.no/about.cfm
here is the new logo
the rest of the profile is in progress. I wanted to make them 'new' more 'proffessional/corporate'.what do you think? Is it a go or should I work more on it? do you think I 'need' the cut in the 'i'? The idea is to give a clue to the pronounsiation, 'telítas' (not télitas)(and it does the same thing as an ? does to make a logo look uniqe, right?)
The font is Bosis BTW. To give the company an humanist look while I was using caps to give it authority.
ok, I'll have an glenlivet and check your enthousiastic replies in a few. thanks.

correction: (and it does the same thing as an 'TM' does to make a logo look uniqe, right?)

way better. nice colors.
not sure what you mean the the whole "TM" (trademark) thing. when a "TM" appears next to a logo it's because it's trademarked, not because it's unique.

kona. what I meant was that lots of designers put the tm in to make the logo look more like a logo (fex when using a plain font). like microsoft I made this kind of adjustment to one letter to make the logo unique. then I don't need the tm. It was a joke.
thanks for the compliments, I'll give it to the client on monday.

Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't feel right to display this kind of "work in progress" on an open forum. To me a company logo is little too... intimate for that.
ah, hell, don't mind me. I'm just having a bad hair day.

nice start but...
and please don't think me an ass for saying this, it's soooo generic.there's no hook to it. it looks like a gazillion other companies nowadays. Maybe it's the colors...or the right angles make it so stoic. not sure...
i'm probably just feeling that way cuz i read this this morning:

i'll have to agree with lyrek.
it's a bit flat and doesn't pop as a logo should. ..i think its a good start. maybe try a few more ideas and see what else you come up with. If this is the final, maybe try to work the square design into the text a bit more... to make more of a connection bewteen te two. they seem like two seperate pieces.
it could be that i am just tired and not wearing my glasses though:) *yawn* i should get to bed.
hope all goes well.
peace.
