PS - saving files!!!

In PS i'm trying to save out files and it's cutting of the end of my file names.... probably because they're too long... Is there a preference somewhere that will change the maximum amount of characters for a file name... Please HELP i'm running out of time :)

Copy of Untitled_01.psd

in OSX files can be as long as you want.... otherwise I don't think theres anything else you can do

ok thanks... it just a bitch saving the file and then having to go into windows explorer and then change it to what its supposed to be.

I figured it out...
When saving for web you have to go to "Output settings" and then uncheck MacOS and Unix... that eliminates the cutting of file names
