Can you check a users resolution via PHP? or is that only a client side thing requiring javascript?
if PHP, could somebody point out a code snippit? I couldn't find one.

No, you can't check a client's screen resolution with PHP. It's just a javascript thing.

It can also be checked through PERL, I think.
