Has anyone here created a web application where a user can dynamically generate a PDF on the fly.
I want to have a template where the user inputs some data on a web page, then a hi res pdf is made using the info.

I checked adobe, they have a prodcut, but do not provide a lot of info on it.
I have a feeling the Adobe solution is too expensive.

it probably be a good idea to develop some rival product to this to sell. Shit good idea! :)

Check Sourceforge.net, Freshmeat and other misc Linux "esque" sites.
PDF creation is easy (and free) in Linux.
I have seen some XML systems that call out scripts that do this, but I don't remember where.

What about for an NT server? The client is already running a Win NT server for the site.
Thanks for the info :)
