hey everyone.
i need a little help. i've been trying to convert a 24 bit wav file to a 16 bit wav file for a while, but can't seem to find a program that will do this on pc? something easy to find preferably i guess.
if someone could let me know if they've done this before, much appreciated, i have to get this finished.
thanks muchly,
chris.

sound forge should do it, and maybe even winamp

You can use Sound Forge 6.0 or maybe even Wavelab or possibly Cubase might do it, shit then again Acid Pro might do it as they keep upgrading that piece of shit.

premiere and quicktime pro too!

awesome thanks alot.
i actually tried everythng except quicktime pro. none could read the format, but i finally got it to convert with cakewalk's sonar. acid would have worked, but the file time was too long, so i couldn't get the full track in there. pretty dumb.
but thanks. much appreciated.
