ok, i´m a Spanish working in England. Most of the people in my country works with Freehand, easier if you are doing a leaflet or exporting to flash. Here, in the UK, I tell everybody "yeah, I quite prefer using freehand", but they just look at me like "man, u sucks like hell" So what? Mutabor works with freehand and look the results!!!! Squareheads...

left hand or right hand?
what it comes down to is just preference. one is better at the other for one thing, the other is better at other things.

I don't mind these comparison threads, i think they help ppl make informed choices... for my part i love illustrator, but try running ill10 on xp and your opinion on the subject may begin to differ, i'm back to nine now and seriously considering giving freehand another chance... but... but... its just so crappy and the interface is so 'macromedia' ughhhh.... but thanks to these comparison threads i have noticed that illustrator is lacking in certain areas... mathematics for seem a bit awry, but i always found that even snapping to a grid was awry in freehand

I own both softwares but just use Illustrator for the rare logo/vector work.
The only reason I have Freehand is because it came w/Studio XP.

"left hand or right hand?"
...as long as you have one hand where it matters
