of course bad Flash sites are going to exist, just because people understand the functionality of it, doesn't mean they have a sense of style, that comes natural I think, anyway my opinion. :)

but man, that seriously is a bizarre site/sight:
chickens on a spit under the ocean? and clocking in at over 300K!

I don't trust people who find bad design/work amusing.
I think it's a sign of arrogance...
It's easier to find sites that are not very good than sites that are. So make it a bit more difficult for yourself and more interesting for us and search for work you like.

Who said I find this work amusing?
Why can't stuff be posted to remind us of poor behaviour?
There are many people who HATE flash sites. Why? Show me why people hate flash so I don't do it.
I don't think that I ever said, "Post some ugly crap and we'll all have a laugh," did I? Why can't we learn from other's mistakes?

asking for examples of poor use of flash is asking us to post at least a quarter of the entire interweb, na meen?

I think people hate flash sites, because most of them have long preloaders, a long intro animation and poor navigation.
It's beyond graphic design skills.

"I think people hate flash sites, because most of them have long preloaders, a long intro animation and poor navigation."
Exactly. However, I think that as designers/developers, we're more adept at navigating/dealing with these sites than the public is. I've found that it isn't until you see something pretty exceptional that you stopped and considered your own work.
One site I posted had a loooong, pointless intro. I se those all the time, but this one forced me to consider my own work.
I don't have 60 sec intros, but I sometimes I do have to put one in, because of . . . well . . . clients. This might be a good way to show a client why this "really cool" thing just isn't so cool.
Another site I posted had t

well . . . yes . . . but nevermind.
In other news, the PV-AN edit box is shown to be poorly designed for the chronically stoopid*.
