Ever had to walk out of an interview because the interviewers asked to intimidating questions?

that's what I meant, I mean it cannot hurt right? You want the jobbie job, fuck them either way, you need that job, so get it at any rate

Definately be succinct. But hey, as long as they are dishing out the goofball questions, you may as well sell yourself.
- JazX0
that's a good tip :)

if it helps any, the last interview I had I mainly kept my mouth shut and nodded at everything they said. kept it brief, didn't elaborate much, and smiled alot. and I got hired.
the last interview before that (a non-design position) I blabbed on and on and got rejected.
and I have done interviews (as the hirer) before, and brevity is well appreciated, come to think of it. I remember one dude came in and was a complete drone, almost put me to sleep. you don't want to be nicknamed 'jigglypuff' by potential employers (like dude was, ha!).

bent, you are awesome.
shellieson.. "lol"

Sprinklied with lots of salt :
If you get asked about long term goals, shoot big. Say you want to serve a long term function that may make your interviewers life easier or better in the longrun. It will show that you aren't a slacker and that you'll be devoted. Worked for me in the past.
Also, I would try to mix a little casual banter in there with the professional... Ya know, but cool like, not ass kissy.
Confidence Shellieson!
Bonzai! -_-

if that's the case and believe me you are a hottie African American chickie, you got that job, cause I know what they're thinking. No offense, just be nice and you got it! :)

@kpl... but i wasnt asking about what to wear though. im a really horrible conversationalist when it really comes down to it. then i get nervous and.. i cant focus.
at the christmas party last year i tried talking to one of the art directors when i had a few drinks and i couldnt remember if i said something stupid or not.. so i left and cried all the way home. im really shy. (youd never guess it on here)
- shellie0
@kpl: yeah...
i guess i should dress cute cos this company im pretty sure is 100% male.
hubba hubba

I'm sure you get the job.
Later on this week I am sure you'll see all of them as your whomies.
- kpl0
gee shellie, didn't you talk about dressing tips on the last interview thread we had here? :)
- JazX0
Also use the word Whom, not Who, when addressing whom you might be working with. Got me?
- JazX0
Make sure you ask: What are some of the short term and what are some of the long term goals for the individual at this position.
- Peter0
Asspop, is that how you get your jobs? :)
- BonSeff0
shellie,
sleep well tonite, you busted your ass building your portfolio. the only thing to be nervous about is what you cant control.
chin up, you done good,
go get em

it never hurts to show a little nipple.
- shellie0
when i get nervous.. i tell jokes or try to be funny. i guess i always have to lighten the mood if things are too serious. i guess i should try not to do that in the interview.
