I notice a lot of people shit on the position Bush takes and the whole "conspiracy" regarding big companies assissting this war.
What companie you will not work for regarding these issues...
- Danski0
Any company connected with that amount of money, isn't likely to poke me with a faulty dildo anyway. But in theory I won't work for big tobacco or big religion.
But I'll do pro-bono work for grassroots bands and filmmakers so I guess it's all good karma in the end.

tru dat, Dans.
Same here btw.
I'd like to work for government institutions that are involved in less evil activities...and artists and cultural institutions and the likes...
but then again,
I also use products that need or were made of oil_
you can't be an angel.

If you wanna be an angel, you gotta break some heads.
Or something.

I see that people are actually thinking tthe make clean work by working for alternative clients. If Nike or Coca-cola waves a couple of bucks i want to see how many stay with their principles

i couldn't care less who i work for, show me the money, and heck i'll even work for lucifer

I didn't say I wouldn't work for coca-cola. The fact that I'm unlikely to even illicit a blink from them is irrelevant in this case. But I stick by myself on the tobacco and the religon thing.

so you wouldnt work for kraft foods
- Danski0
Interesting point. How far down the line of financing can we trace back? I'd say that I won't work for a company that makes me feel uneasy. Kraft doesn't, even though it gets its funds from one that does.
But then again, it's all fairly academic really.

I would not mind redesigning the chesterfield package...
or IKEA or MC DOnalds knowing they are big shitty companies that exploit poor countries...
- sexypixel0
true, all big corps fund each other. what was that site that showed the top few corporate people of the world, they were all crossing into various industries. It too hard to keep 'clean'.
- Sapphire0
i would love to work for phillip morris
- Voutje0
Anyhow big corps pay huge amounts of taxes and in europe have to invest in both culture and environment which is in a way coming back at us designers. If people are so anti america they should get rid of their apple? what would the world look like then?

I worked for ol' Luc once. He's got great clients, big big names.

I couldn't work for an oil company.
