My friend Marky @ the specimin Corp is dyslexic. He made this site.

If you're at art college in Britain you stand a pretty good chance of getting the best possible setup for free...G4, monitor scanner, the works. Check it out :)

I have a very mild version I think. I still have problems reading numbers strange enough. Hmmm.
I heard that you are more likely to become dyslectic when you are visual minded. (designer)

One of my good friends is dyselxic. He writes the funniest damned screenplays I've laid eyes on. And he has an uncanny knack for coming up with good project ideas.

Clarification : not funny screenplays because his spelling sometimes goes wrong. funny because they're comedies.
this has been a social disclaimer.

i am also dyslexic, and hate dealing with code..have good friends that help me out :)
As far as i understand it, there are two types of dyslexia, the one i have means that i find it really easily to visulise things using imagary in my brain...think in in 3 or 4 dimentions!! but when it comes to words, letters and numbers, my brain just jumbles them up and they come out all wrong! The other kind is the exact oppersite, and they visulise using letters and words!!! how crazy is that!!
When i got my test done at Art School the lady that tested said after i had completed the jigsaw image blocks test, in two secs, that when she tests people at the university they can never finish it! all very intresting i think!
On a final note:
We had a Dyslexic Author feela come in to art school one day and did this talk, and he said the future is for dyslexic brains, as computers become more intelligent, the problems we have will become insignificant, but the way we think will always be unique, and so more and more sought after!WE ARE THE FUTURE:)

Well, I'm not dyslexic, but I am colourblind which can be a real pain in the ass when you're a print designer (as I am)
I have had to learn - through trial an error - which pms numbers go with which 'cos I can't trust my eyes to work!
Is always a hard one to explain in meetings when client is moaning latest job doesn't exactly match the colour of last one and I am asked an opinion.
