Hey I like it too................but whats the pont? I´m a bit of here. Navigations good, all that, but what to do with it? Pictures of rubbish on a flor, yes and then?!! Sorry dude, I just don´t get it, but hey, it´s different still.

Ehm JagdPanther. That rubbish on his the table is his work I presume.
I'd love a better look at it though :)

well.my point is that it dosen´t look like work, it looks like rubbish. Maybe it´s just the same as when the impressionists came around. Or when grotesk-fonts first emerged; some people just didn´t see it as art, but scetches being shown as art. I don´t know and I didn´t mean to be rude.

Yeah thats filth, i think it also gives the impression that you put effort into your work, not just click it out it out with a mouse...

yeah - nice stuff - nav is pretty annoying though

Very different I suppose..... but to be honest it doesn't really say much about presentation skills.... sorry.

hi, thanks for the comments! here's the concept behind the site. instead of listing my qualifications and just showing what i can do with my design knowledge, i wanted to gather up objects and designs that i love and found in my environment, to hopefully define me in some way. and aside from the nav sys, i didn't want ANY artificial elements in there. so everything is handwritten or photographed. basically, i wanted something different with some production value.
i'm a senior at york university in toronto. (i have yorku card displayed on the site :)

jadpanther, there are secondary pages when you click on selected works on the main page that'll lead to illustrations, communication design, art, posters, info, motion, photographs, etc. do check it out again. thanks :)

I actually really liked it. If you show your portfolio in a more personal way (such as you did) you'll get work that suits your style better. Maybe you'll get less work : ) but when you do it'll be fun.
In your opening page there's no backgroundcolour assigned in the source. Now it'll be the colour that the user choose as a text background colour. Most people have this set to white so it won't be a problem then. Mine is set to grey, so your site will get a grey background.
