i'm using an iframe, and often within this iframe the pages contain flash documents.
when the iframe contains just HTML pages, everything looks fine, however when the iframe displays pages that contain flash documents, IE adds both horizontal/vertical scrollbars.
i'm using scrolling="no" in the iframe src, anyone have any ideas?
thanks.

Hey Gabe,
Man do I know this problem... anyhow, I remember a discussion about eactly the same issue here a couple of months back and remember that "podlob" posted a javascript fix to the problem. I'll try digging around for it fo you... In the meantime, try a search here for "podlob" and see if you get any hits back.

I was allowed to use this one from the folks over at K10K...In hope MSchmidt don't mind me posting it here:
// FIXES THE OS X IFRAME DISPLAY PROBLEMS
// Notes: Only needed for IE5/mac under OS Xfunction fix_OSX_IE_DisplayBug() {
if ((Macintosh) && (browserName == 'IE') && (browserNew)) {
try {
objBody = document.getElementsByTagName("b...
for (i=0; i < objBody.length; i++) {
objBody[i].style.visibility = "hidden";
objBody[i].style.visibility = "visible";
}
}
catch(error) {
// ignore error
}
}
}

that bit of code doesn't seem to be working, but i e-mailed travis at podlob, so hopefully he still has that bit of JS to fix it...
thanks again

no worries Gabe. If Travis gets back to you with some code goodness, please let me know.... I'm working in a project now that will need a similar fix on the near future :)
