anyone got any recomendations on what type of film to use to get that really satuated, vibrant look to your photos. Film suggestions, or if there are other factors involved in getting this look, please let me know. thanks.

Just use some slide film and put through C41 process
only an idea, not saying it's the best one :)

If you don't mind shooting slides. Fuji Velvia, super saturated at 50 iso, push it to 100 or 200 to get more contrast, never lets you down. Fuji also makes a good print film too, I think it's NPS, I used to work at a professional lab, I remember it being pretty nice.

cool, two questions... slide film? whats the difference between slipe film and regular film? and whats that C41 process? thanks.

Slide film is transparent, a positive image, uses E6 chemicals to process.
"Regular" film is negative, uses C41 chemicals to process.
If you shoot on slide and process in C41, you'll get a super saturated colour with silvers and greys going bluish and skin tones going a bit weird (usually yellowish). The shadows and highlights will blow out a bit adding to the effect. This is called "cross processing".
If you want to be really tricky about it, under expose the film slightly when you shoot and get the lab to push (over develop) the film when processing.
