Your body has reached saturation of the toxins that this weed contains, you need to give your body a rest, if not for good, for a couple of weeks, to help you clean out toxins try a herbal tincture called milkthistle, this will also releive stress.
capeesh.

Yea milkthisle, I had to detox once, real quick due to an impending sporting drugs test, I went to see a homeopath and she put me on this dtox course, it worked, and still take milkthistle to this day, it's also great for hangovers.

Not really weed related but
here's quite a funny article about cocaine abuse amongst London's media types.

I know how you feel, same thing happended to me. Smoked it since I was 16, now 27.
I found that you have to be happy before you smoke it, properly inner happiness.
Its also about the repitition, the feeling you are looking into the past and not moving on. Its like waiting in a queue to get into a club (sorted for everything), and you get that nervous excitement mixed with a kind of melancholic feeling, and in your head you are thinking "havent I been here somewhere before? when will I tire of this shit"

toastie, same thing happened to me. i was a chronic pothead for years, didn't go one day or almost one hour without smoking the herbals. then one day it really wigged me out and i thought the weed was laced. i still think it might have been because since that time i get mad paranoia, crazy heartbeat speeds, and i feel like shit. it's been that way now since sometime in late 99 and has shown signs of improvement but it's not the same anymore. i have also blamed it on the mass amount of psychedelics i've treated myself to as a possible cause.
i say you can try just waiting it out but in my case it has never been the same as before. it sucks. good luck, and if you ever find a cure let everyone know.

same thing here... didn't take very long for me. I smoked off and on for a couple of years, then daily for a year, or year and a half.
I always wonder if it's physical or psychological. I had some shitty times while I was smoking daily, so I wonder if it somehow takes me back to that time somehow.
On the other hand there are physical symptoms, like you the fast beating heart.. I also get cold at first, my hands and feet, then my head gets hot like I have a fever.
Eating it does the same thing for me I'm afraid.
Anyway I hate it when people say it makes you more creative. That's a bunch of crap, never let your happiness or creativity depend on a substance...
don't turn to drinking, if you're
going to do it with the same frequency. Remember, unlike the herb it IS addictive, and it will rot your guts.

I grew up in Miami so I have pretty much seen it all. Friends in rehab, friends in coffins. But the friends that where the biggest pot heads but never did coke or heroin for some reason are actually doing well.(no surprise)
Obviously they cut back, to busy working.
I try not to smoke socially, kind of buggs me out. To me there's nothing like a bowl after work. Moderation is the key.
