I create a picture in PS but when i export the pic to premiere the colors are way too bright...so i need to adjust brightness like -100 so the picure is almost all black until it comes out normal in premiere. what's this all about?

never heard of anything like this...... is your image RGB?
how are you importing it??????

yea, it's RGB.
also,
when i "print screen" a webpage and paste in ps the colors are too dark..ie. not the same color as in internet explorer

you need to calibrate your colour profile in photoshop.
for a quick solution- try a few alternate profiles, matching with a open photoshop image, and the jpg version in a browser.

yeah, sounds like a color management thing. Try going thru the adobe gamma (mac)utility or color management on the mac.
Then open photoshop and set the color prefs (shft-ctrl-k) and set to one of the standards.
I mostly do web output so I'm currently using:
RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1
CMYK: U.S. Web Coated
Gray Gamma 2.2
Dot Gain 20%You should be able to use View/Proof-setup to see what the image will look like on PC vs Mac. This basically tweaks the gamma (which is what adobe gamma calibrates).
Worse case you may want to create a level adjustment action that boosts your gamma prior to output for video etc.
Either way you should calibrate your Monitor / color profile so you can be somewhat sure what you see is what other will see.
