Hi guys, I need a little help with this table if you can, i'm afraid i'm getting no help on macromedia forums, so sorry for going off topic.
I can't get this table to behave for me, I need it to be able to expand deeper if i add more text, and obviously make a perfect 3d box, if you know what I mean. thanks guys

Is it the text on either side of the input box you want to change?

thats a whole lotta code for one little table!

it really is man...crazy code...what you want to to is put the 3d bit in as a background image and pad it out with css margins or your shim.gif's....

I would start by replacing your no break spaces ( ) with transparent gif's.

I have just figured out what you really want, d'uh!
You want an expandable table.
The easiest way to do what you want is using layers, and by resizing the layers using java-script... You could also do that dynamically.... Expand while you right..

you can do it completely with css and divs, if you don't care about old, shitty browsers.
no need for spacer images, and background images in tables - since those are defunct in current versions of html and xhtml.
