I just have been playing with the panorama feature on my camera, which aids in taking perfect panoramas. So... I know I could do a google search for this, but I want to know what you think the best solution for stitching images and making a QuickTime Panorama is for the PC. Thanks for your time, and suggestions.

Here are some java-applet based examples I made for a client who refused Quicktime(since not all PC's have it installed and it is quite a download)...it was a freeware solution i found on the web via some intense Googling.(it is far less professional looking then QTVR I admit. Unfortunately there was little budget, and I used a Nikon Coolpix 900-series mounted on a borrowed tripod with a 360° indicator on it..accompanied with a borrowed wide-angle converter for the coolpix) It is not a very easy job to do, so I won't offer this service anymore...better leave it to the pro's (with pro QTVR setups).
I used a shareware app for it, which i need to look-up...was for OS-9 only...
I also remembered there were waaaayy more cheap(commercial, shareware, freeware) solutions for stitching for the PC anyway...
Just look around...if I find some links I will hook ya up.

I use this ( http://www-3.ibm.com/software/ad… ) to make java applet VRs - good thing I downloaded a copy b4 they stopped supporting MacOS. A brief 'hotmedia by IBM' appears before the applet loads.
There are shit loads of share/free -warez for PC to generate the java based panoramas - Im really surprised you couldnt google any.
Remember, the dimensions are limited. You can only make them so large before the artifacting due to compression starts getting out of hand.Good luck.
