what's interesting about that?
(aside from them both being nice sites, especially the one by hi-res)

compare and contrast.
here's one question: are british audiences prefer sites that don't put everything in front of you or is it just hi-res?

i dont' know...i find hi-res sites a little bit slow and annoying sometimes...their movie stuff is nice...and i love it...but sometiems, i just want to get the information and get out of there...and it's very rare that that's the case with their sites...
wicked to look at though

agreed, Hi-Res sites have that more minimalistic (typically UK IMHO) feel to their sites, tho this one might attract less "Joe Public"-kinda peeps then the other(KNI) site, I guess.
Sad....but true.
interesting comparison indeed...
might be a start for a usefull debate on design again here....
('bout time..)

I wanted to say the KNI site was better cause I'm tired of cats being trendwhores but the Hi-Res site is more pleasing, not that the KNI site isn't nice.

ah, didn't see you approaching it from a compare/contrast convo.
i thought this thread had the same intentions every other VS thread has, "ripoff vs ripoff!"
- unknown0
it's not all ripoffs here, gabe!
(i hope)
;)

they're both really fantastically designed sites - shows a really good contrast between US and UK design - because they are both for the same thing!
Really like the ease of use with KNI's one...and the jukebox sampler...and I really like the complexity and playability of the Hi-Res one...they both have their own individual merits....

bump, cos wouldn't you rather talk about design?
- kodap0
both suck
just kddn
