How do you do it??
Reveal your secrets, you Mistress of Magical Vectors!

In my opinion, using a Wacom won't up your level of skill. I personally could not get used to it.
I use an optical mouse.

I made the big step to a trackball 2 months ago. I love it.
Can't get used to Wacom either.....
I borrowed an A3-wacom from a friend a couple of times....it was to hard to handle for me...

It takes a lot more creativity & open-mindedness to create what you create, Kodap. Stick to your unpatient style. It's wonderful.

use whatever you are comfortable with... and create what you love

So, I just got a microsoft wireless optical mouse... it has this funky delay. Maybe I just need to get used to it.
Any ideas?

Dude that MS Optical delay sucks. I had the same problem it is really annoying.
I ended up immediately selling it on ebay and getting a Logitec optical with the cord. It is smooth like butter!
I also found the cordless one too heavy because of the batteries.

solution= dont buy microcrap

Try the Intellimouse Explorer v3 (with cord).

i got the logitech chordless optical, no delay here eccept sometimes when the thing falls down from the desk and i dont notice.
and, im another one who couldnt get used to the wacom tablet, but im still gonna get one, im going to force my self to get used to it cause i know theyre better.

the pen isn't all that bad, it's like driving with a 'stick' shift (get it? lame joke, nvm) you just have to use it until it feels like second nature, wacom mouse sucks bigtime though.

i have a logitech cordless mouse as well, its a great mouse. it just sucks up batteries pretty quickly.
i just got a wacom tablet for christmas. once im done cleaning my apartment inside and out for our nye party im going to go nuts with it :) and yes, its mouse blows. the logitech one is the most ergonomic ive had.

The wacom mouse is one of the worst things ever. I know not one of my friends that uses it.
About the delay on the wireless mouse: I had trouble with my logitec optical wireless mouse because of the USB. It's now plugged into my normal mouseport with the adaptor and works fine.
