Ok boys, I am working on http://www.visitmarshallislands.… it is my first real client. They love the layout, and the navigation, but I thought I would post it here, to see what you critical people think of it. Please give me reasonable suggestions; it has to be finished soon so a complete redesign won’t happen. Just give me your two cents, and suggestions for improvement. Thanks a lot for your time and comments.

really quite nice.
very simple and easy to navigate.
i have nothing bad to say and only one thought to offer.the topbar looks great with the palm coming down on top of the navbar, but it looks a bit empty where you have that big hum of white space between the tree and the contact info.
maybea logo worked into it or something. nothing overpowering, just something to make that white spot a little less blinding.
again though, this lloks really great. congrats man, i hope they pay you a lot! =)

First off I love the colors that you've chosen and the navigation bar is classic. The only thing is that if kind of makes me a bit dizzy or loses the me, in that when you scroll the total page from the browser something seems off a bit. Love wallpaper in the background, very nice, wouldn't mind using that if you wouldn't mind, but I would change the colors around on it. Very chiq overall!! Nice work man, your personal work is nice too. Shit for that matter I wouldn't ming having the .fla for that nav. :) LOL good luck!

that site is nice, can I use it in my portfolio when you are done ;)
- iSolve0
i just want to use the background, fonts, wallpaper, and fla. files. I'll change the colors, I promise no one will know. ;)

yeah that's what I was saying, hee hee, LOL! Yeah right! ;)

it doesnt quite fit vertically at 1024x768 which is probably the browser size you should be designing for at the very least. Might want to look into that. Otherwise very nice.

that really is VERY nice.. someone said this already, but some sort of branding would give it a more complete feel.. a logo of some sort..
my only gripe is your "credit" line.. its kinda big and distracts me a bit!

I really like the site. Very "vacationy". The only things i see are:
you forgot the area codes for the Outrigger resort
On Golden Hotel, is "z" supposed to be in front of Rates?
Need a space after the phone number on Anrohasa
and "Accomodations" in the nav bar needs two "c"s.
Hope this helps. Really, you did a great job and congrats on the gig.

oh and in the nav bar again, it looks like there is an extra space after "Sights"

really nice.
You forgot to send me tickets tho...
:P

Nice colors, great atmosphere for it. Your site is pretty slick, as well.
Good job.

Love it, absolutely love it.
As Biofreak pointed out already - the white space could be changed a little. Maybe have a little more of that beautiful sky there?
Good work!

the beveled metal look doesn't really jive with the rest of it... maybe you could remove the beveling and possibly play with the colours to give it a more "island paridise" look... more earthy and lush instead of grey, sanitized and techy.

I'll second monNom's bevel comments.
animations probably should be slower to emphasize leisure.
are they supposed to give you more copy? seems like the content is sparse.

Wow, thanks so much guys. Thank you so much for all the great comments.
blank space - Yes the logo is going to go in the center, I am still working on it.
mayo- Thanks for catching the mistakes. They soon will be fixed.
breeding- I am at school at RIT, I always love meeting designers in my area, if you want, I would love to buy you dinner and discuss design and what not. Drop me an email if interested
Once again thanks a ton for your comments. Keep them coming.
