doesn't work, because it's in a frame and doesn't like it.what are my alternatives?

thanks gabe... not quite yet, but maybe looking at my code you can tell:
[script language="JavaScript"]
[!--
function loadthree(page1, page2, page3) {
parent.second_nav.location.href...
parent.content.location.href=pag...
parent.third_nav.location.href=p...
}
// --]
[/script][a href="javascript:void(0);" onClick="loadthree('articles_nav...
it's supposed to be "#top" where the "javascript:void(0);" is. but none seem to work.

just do it all in the [a] tag.
a href="javascript:void(0);" onClick="parent.second_nav.loati... parent.content.location.href('pa... parent.third_nav.location.href...
should work

that works too gabe... but not when the entire thing is within a big frame... it's something with the "parent." tag... same problem with the #top tag.
here's the code:
[a href="javascript:void(0);" onClick="parent.second_nav.locat... parent.third_nav.location.href...again, it works here:
http://www.small-fish.com/philli…but not when it's in a frame here:

i might be wrong, but if you are targeting an iframe i don't think you even have to use the parent tag. just window.location.href
so, frameName.location.href might work without the parent might work

***applause for gabe***
