Hi, just wondering how long it takes to develope a cartoon character?
I've been ask to do this at work, but they only scheduled 20 hours that includes client meetings, team communications, brainstorming and research.
Do you think that is enough?
thanks in advance

tracing paper, coffee (or Pibb Xtra), sharpys, a 20sack of chronic, and some string... cuz you never know when you're gonna need some string.

two q-tips and a piece of cheese.

Just eliminate a body part and draw something with a finger missing and you're set. Oh and make up words like cowabunga.
Are you required to animate also? If so-use cardboard cut-out stuff and go the southpark style ;)

hehe, no, but I have to do interactive web banners with this character as well.

Just do as best job you can in the time you're given and let them know when they see the result that more time would produce something better.
