The only letter in the english language to have more than 1 syllable is 'W' which has three, and we as web guys have to use 3 of them at the start of each of our projects.
I move to use either
1)a new 3-letter set (i.e. 'bbb', 'ppp')
or
2)make a one-syllable name for 'WWW' (i.e. can't think of any...)
Your thoughts?

sometimes my grandma asks me to look at a webpage online, and she comes in my room with some book or magazine ad and reads off the address, always starting with "douba-you douba-you douba-you" saying it all slow and annoying like. i finally told her not to say it anymore.

Actually, some British people would say "whuh" instead of "doubleyou". Maybe that's why there are so many good agencies in England. They save all that time...

KingMob you're on track; think of all of the time saved that can be better spent at http://www.homestarrunner.com

you sound like a tit once you say any url, an extra 'www' isn't going to make you sound like anymore of a tit, you've already done the damage, nerds

wanna do something funny? take away the GO button from the browser and watch your friends/parennts/grandparents with no computerskills surf the web.
my aunt comes here sometimes to check some URLs she writes down looking for cheap plane tickets. and besides looking for the letters H T T and P for like 3 hours, at the end, she gets all confused and doesnt know what to do and sits and stares at the computer for a while, and since she has a lot of pride and went to computer school, she tries not to call me.
at the end she calls me and asks for me to type it giving me the usual whole spelling of the whole adress, i just click enter, and then she forgets again that you have to click enter.
she stays on the same site for a loooong time clicking at banners and popups.
