Fine Arts Films, founded in 1955 in Los Angeles on the idea that animation is an art form, officially launches it's internet presence. The website traces the career of FAF founder John David Wilson. Beginning in England under the tutelage of legendary Disney animation director, David Hand, Wilson later joined the Walt Disney Studios where he worked on classics such as “Peter Pan” and “Lady and the Tramp.” Inspired by Walt's vision of animation as art, Wilson left Disney and established Fine Arts Films where he has forged a unique contribution to the art of animation.
