"Finally fast food is in decline. Last year McDonald's closed more than 700 restaurants in its two largest markets, Japan and the US. And, for the first time in its 48-year history, the company suffered a net loss over a three-month period. The loss isn't tiny - over a third of a billion, yes billion, dollars."
