its just this thing that a lot of urban artists have with consumerism... every one trys to be so counter culture anti-capitolist, etc. when alot of these types are one of advertising's most cherished targets and biggest spenders.
Not so much Banksy but the whole "urban art/music movement" or whatever.
Hiphop when it was a real political movement lured all these people into what is now a big ass shopping mall of excess.
