    You don’t need to bullshit your way in. I was "Amy Chen" for two years.

    Only recently did I ever get a pass of my own. And, even then, as long as you have the right color badge around your neck, they never check and just wave you in with the masses of people... especially on the 2nd and 3rd day.

    Everybody should swing by. It’s loverly.

    The parties are great. Mostly centered around networking, drinking and rediculous set ups (and a bunch of star spotting *yawn*).... the "geeks" are usually the people who make the games -- not the people who cut the cheques. It's just like pretty much any Hollywood party. But, the video game industry is one of the fastest growing and most profitable industries in Los Angeles. So, there’s quite a bit more decadence involved.
