    "For the record, I have yet to figure the puzzle out. I'm generally pretty good with puzzles too. Do I attribute this to being smarter? Of course not. Like you said in your background, different people look at the world differently. This is what I find interesting about your professor's statement. On one hand, the puzzle, he says, took him a year to solve. So by saying "smarter people take longer" is a way of having a sense of humour about it (which the majority people seemed to have missed completely).
    On the other hand, its as though he's challanging those people who completed it quickly. It's as if their offence to the statement is exactly what prompts it in the first place. It's very subtle (whether intentional or not) humour."
