A lot of the stories have to do with kryptonite, but there's more variation now because of the introduction of more main characters (Lois, Jason). And there's this thing about crystals too. Jason (Lana's bf and no one knows he's evil) has the water crystal after murdering some woman, Lana has the fire crystal (no one knows), and Clarke has the air crystal. And they all have something to do with Clarke and it'll be tied up in the season finale.
Also, Clarke is going to discover a new power, Chloe now knows about his secrets (which he doesn't know), and Clarke and Lois still don't know what to do with their lives.
